Richard Levychin, CPA to Moderate The Art of the Acquisition; Growing Your
Company Using Mergers Acquisitions, March 27th
All companies grow by increasing their top line revenue. Many companies, in addition to using the above organic revenue approach, also grow by acquiring other companies.
Last year, past EO NY President Sel Watts led a Fireside Chat that featured a session called “The Art of the Exit” where Sel facilitated a very robust and energetic discussion among three EO members that had exited their companies for seven, eight, and nine figures. Later that year, the session was replicated at EO Nerve in Atlanta with the same three EO members, with Richard Levychin moderating a standing room only session.
Sel and Richard are teaming up to present “The Art of the Acquisition”, which puts you on the other side of the table.
The Art of the Acquisition will be a panel discussion focused on growing your company using mergers and acquisitions, and whose panelists will include EO NY member Josh Kleyman, whose company Citizen Trucking, is a logistics holding company that buys, builds, and invests in various companies in the logistics industry, and historically has engaged in approximately 10 M & A transactions per year.
Jolie Kahn, CEO of AgriFORCE Growing Systems, Ltd., a NASDAQ publicly held company (NASDAQ:AGRI) will join us to discuss her Company’s recent acquisitions of Bitcoin mining facilities and how the recent shift to operating in the Bitcoin mining and crypto currency space has impacted her Company’s culture, operating systems, and financial reporting systems.
Also joining the panel will be Brett Dearing, a Partner with the financial services firm Cerity Partners and the founder of the Business Owners Exchange. Brett is a Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, has been an advisor on multiple M & A deals and has led multiple sessions on acquisitions and exit planning including sessions for EO NY.
In addition to facilitating the session with Sel, Richard will also discuss how his firm has grown using M & A. Sel will discuss the cultural challenges that come up with M & A transactions.
In this session we will cover various topics including:
