Join us for a Fireside Chat with Richard Levychin, CPA, which will be facilitated by Sel Watts, the current President of the EO New York chapter.
An active member and multi-term former board member of EO New York, Richard is a consistent contributor to the EO community at both a local and a national level.
Born in England to Jamaican parents, Richard’s story includes a multi-cultural heritage from the island of Jamaica that includes him being part Black, Jewish, Cuban, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indian. You will be floored by the origin of his last name, “Levychin”.
In addition to exploring the personal side of Richard, Sel will delve into his career which includes the growth of his current firm to a global CPA firm with offices in NYC, New Jersey, Florida, Chicago, and the Philippines, the joint venture between his previous firm and the CPA firm EisnerAmper, directorship in 3 publicly held companies, and multiple awards including NYC CPA of the year, the Network Journal’s “40 Under 40” award, and leadership and appreciation awards from the Arthur Ashe Institute, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and his alma mater Baruch College.
