Kenneth E. Edwards, CPA, CGMA, is a partner in the firm’s Commercial Audit and Assurance practice where focuses on both public and privately held companies. He delivers a wide variety of audit services and helps clients stay abreast of rules and regulations to comply with increasingly complex accounting and reporting issues. Ken serves as the Firm’s Leader for outsourced CFO Support Services.Ken has nearly 39 years of experience working in the financial industry, with more than 30 of those years in public accounting, primarily at Big Four and national firms. Ken specializes in working with middle-market companies (with revenues of $5 million to $800 million) in the charter school, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, construction, nonprofit and telecommunication industries.

In addition, Ken spent nine years in the private sector. Four of those years, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance for a publicly traded company primarily responsible for all investment banking relationships, SEC reporting, capital fundraising, and acquisition integration. Through these experiences, Ken is better able to service his clients by integrating his practical knowledge as serving as a CFO with the challenges of complex accounting and reporting issues.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Goshen College, Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ken is also a member of the board of directors of the Urban League of Morris County (Treasurer), and the Hope Chest Scholarship Foundation, of which he is the immediate past Chairman. Ken is the past recipient of the Goshen College Athletic Club Champion of Character award in 2014.
